How Democratic is the American Constitution

Write a book review of How Democratic is the American Constitution? by Robert Dahl. The review should be approximately 1000 words (3-4 pp.) long, and should address the following questions: (1) what is Robert A. Dahl’s overall argument in the book, and why does he consider it important to make this argument? (2) how does Dahl develop this argument over the course of his book’s eight chapters (plus two Appendices)? (3) what, in your view, is the strongest part of the book? (4) what, in your view, is the weakest or most questionable part of the book? (5) do you think that this book is relevant to the current political situation in the U.S., yes or no, and why or why not?Reviews will be read, line-edited, graded, and returned to students. Students will then be required to submit revised drafts by September 30. Second drafts will be regraded based on the quality of the revision. This is the grade that will “count.” Only source required is the book.
