In this paper, do one of the following: A) If you think Pollan is correct that something has gone terribly wrong in industrial farming as it exists today, articulate as clearly and specifically as you can where you think the problem lies. Who is responsible? The farmers? The merchants? The consumers? This paper should demonstrate the comprehensive knowledge of bioethical issues that you have gained in this course. B) If you think Pollan is incorrect in his analysis of the state of industrial farming today, defend industrial farming practices against the charges launched by Pollan. Be as clear and specific as possible as you present arguments against those offered by Pollan.
