Music Description

Pick Six pieces of music from the Romantic period and write a paragraph about each.  Your paragraph needs to include the answers to the following questions.  (You can find listening examples within the presentations and the text)  All answers need to be in well thought out paragraphs with complete sentences. You may not copy and paste information. 1. Name the piece and the composer. 2. What is the genre?(Opera, Symphony, Lied, Oratorio, Concerto, Parlor Song, Piano Piece, Program Music, Ballet etc…….) 3. Give a description of the music. Describe what you are hearing.  Things to consider are instrumentation, vocals, texture, dynamics, overall contour etc……(no wrong answers just put what you are hearing) 4.
