Module 7 describes the role of the nursing educator in staff development and health education services for clients. Many of the same activities that relate to curriculum development and evaluation in the academic setting also apply to practice settings. This module helps staff developers and health educators adapt the concepts to their area of nursing practice. Lastly, this module concludes with an analysis of the current role of educators in nursing practice settings. Implications for the future and the potential partnerships between practice and schools of nursing will be explored.
