Paradigm Analysis
Provide a clear definition of paradigm, including both alternative and traditional paradigms in your response. Consider the alternative and traditional paradigms that have shaped your personal life. Select ONE paradigm and respond to the following points: Describe the origin of the paradigm you have identified. Defend your characterization of this paradigm as either traditional or alternative. Describe how the social environment has shaped or has been affected the paradigm you identified. Identify the social construction(s) that support the paradigm you have identified. Explain whether or not you agree or disagree with this paradigm. Describe how this paradigm has changed in response to your own life experiences. And/or, how your life experiences have been interpreted through this paradigm. Identify and describe how this paradigm will affect the work that you do with your clients.
