Police Brutality
Police brutality, which uses excessive and illegal force against civilians by the police officers, has been experienced in many parts of the united states. Many innocent people in the US have been hurt and even killed by police use (Alang et al., 2017).
As much as many movements have come up to speak against police brutality, the vice has continued to exist within many states in the US. However, the most common trend in the united states is the number of African Americans subjected to police brutality. The latest most aired police brutality against a black man was that of George Floyd, who was killed by Derek Chauvin that pressed his knee on George’s neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds (Peeples, 2020).
