Psycho-pathological Character Analysis
Movie Assignment: You should choose a movie that falls into one of the following categories: drama, comedy, action/adventure, family, documentary, biographical, fiction, science fiction, or animation. Please do not choose a film that is labeled as horror or thriller. Write a 4 page paper that addresses each bullet point in the following prompt. Use resources and concepts, you learned from the course abnormal psychology to support your explanations and arguments. Prompt Write an introductory section that identifies the name, genre, and overall theme of the film. Describe accurate examples of the psychopathology of one of the main characters. Describe how these examples might influence practitioners’, clients’, and the general publics’ beliefs about psychopathology. Summarize how screenwriters and filmmakers could exercise responsibility in addressing misconceptions and false beliefs. Please write your paper in the APA format. As part of your research, must use at least three credible, outside sources and cite them using APA format as well. Requirements: A minimum of 4 pages or 1000-1500 words excluding the title page and references is required. Use APA format. Times New Roman 12 pt font, double spaced with 1″ margins. Title and reference pages are required. Include an introduction and conclusion. An abstract is not required. Use support from at least three reputable sources (other than course materials) written within the last five years.
