Self-Regulation and Emotional Intelligence

I don’t know how to handle this Nursing question and need guidance.

Scenario: You come from a 6 month eval as a new charge nurse in LTC facility. The DON states he’s pleased with your performance but suggests you work on learning how to be calmer in hectic situations. He suggests your anxiety could be transmitted to patients, coworkers, and subordinates that look up to you as a role model. He feels that you are especially anxious when short-staffed and that times you vent that frustration to staff adding general anxiety level on the unit.
