- A decline in profits and performances below expectations as shown in the quarterly report. Factors affecting performances are: miscommunication, wrong forecasts of demands and supplies, customer service and dealing with an unexpected surge of demands during holiday seasons.

Data will be retrieved from multiple sources: UPS website for annual reports, wall street journal for in-depth information pertaining to the current trends of the company, and scholarly sources that talks about the supply chain industry.
