Students will research, write, and informally present a short viewpoint or position paper on a topic relevant to their professional interest. The paper topic should be focused on a rising issue that is relevant to the functional area or industry that the student wishes to pursue. For example, a student interested in pursuing a career in digital media marketing in pharmaceutical industry may select a topic in rising issues in either the function (e.g. new methods in digital media marketing) or the industry (e.g. dual pricing structures across national borders).
The viewpoint paper should also be inspired and informed by each students own philosophy of entrepreneurship and innovation. The paper should be fully cited and of high quality so that the student will be able to publish online in an industry association or commercial website (e.g. medium.com, ssrn, scribd) or the students LinkedIn profile, and also use as a discussion point in interviews.
