[ORDER SOLUTION] State Of Affairs

I want you to do a little bit of speculative history. Based on what you’ve read in the textbook  and primary sources this week, but also knowing the current state of affairs in the United States, where do you think American History goes next? Say it’s the year 2050 and you’re writing a history of the United States from 2008-2020. What major events would you include? What major changes would you highlight? What primary sources would you want people to read? You can be as creative as you’d like to be. We tend to focus on a lot of the political history of the United States in survey classes, but do not feel like you have to stick to politics in your answer. If you want to discuss popular culture (music, TV, movies, podcasts, Twitch, etc), religious history, gender history, or anything that captures your interest, go for it. Just think about what *you* think the most important stories from the last 12 years have been and how you’d tell those stories with the evidence to support your version of it.
