I don’t know how to handle this Sociology question and need guidance.

Discussion Question:

1. Describe the stages of development of social problems. How does this contribute to your understanding of the social construction of social problems?
2. The table below is Gallup poll data comparing what was perceived as a serious problem in 1935 and 2016. Identify the similarities and differences between these two years. Thinking back in history what social events might have shaped the visibility of those problems? What events may have contributed to defining these issues as a serious social problem? Connect this survey data to ideas from the readings.
