I’m studying and need help with a Communications question to help me learn.

Now that you have read about and thought about how mass media emerged to serve the needs of the industrializing, urban “mass” society, how do you think media today “fit” with our current society? What do you think about some of the points made in the lecture about how mass media (and increasingly digital media) fulfills needs that have emerged in modern society? How can you connect this to your own personal life, as a college student?
