(1) What do you know about what Rius thinks/feels about Marxism? What is Rius’s “position” on Marx? How do you know this? How does the way you would find out about Rius’s position vis-a-vis Marxism differ from the way you would have figured this out in 1976, when the book was written?(2) How does the graphic format of this non-fiction work impact your particular reception to the work? If you were to write/design a “manifesto” in the tradition of Marx’s broadside “The Communist Manifesto,” . . what kind of format/technology would you use to “reach the masses”? If Marx were alive to today, how would he attempt unite the “working men” of today?
