Goal and Purpose This Assignment is to help you creatively begin to think about how LGBTQ+ individuals and their families build awareness and seek information and what kind of messages they encounter. Directions View any film, show or documentary that has LGBTQ+ content or characters (60-90 minutes). Discuss whether other people in the film had high or low expectations for the LGBTQ+ characters. Give evidence for the inclusion or exclusion of the individual in their home, school and community. 4. Discuss the relationships the LGBTQ+ characters had with others. Their families, their significant others, their friends, their community, other LGBTQ+ characters, etc. 5.
