The Origin of Species

Choose a topic related to the course material to conduct your project.  Each project must first be approved by the instructor.  View the course objectives on the syllabus for a few ideas and the broad categories covered in this course.  Choose how you want to present your project.  This as an asynchronous presentation, and you are the researcher for your topic.  Researchers must communicate their findings with the public.  Teach us what you have learned and encourage your classmates to think critically about your topic. Your project should connect with the course content and objectives, have a clear purpose, express ideas supported by evidence, and present knowledge of your topic in a logical and creative format.  The presentation must contain written, visual and/or auditory aids.  Projects should be organized in a logical and creative format.  Ten or more credible sources and a work’s cited page are also required.   Optional Project Rough draft: is due on Oct. 25th.  Take this opportunity to gain insight on how you are progressing.  You should be ~ 70% complete with your project before submitting this assignment.   Final Project Discussion Board Post (7a): is due on Dec. 2nd.  Each project will be published publicly for other classmates to review.  This project is worth 20% of your total course grade.
