In this course, you will write a 3-4 page response paper after watching episodes 1, 3, and 4 of the Netflix series: The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez. This paper is not a research paper and does not require any sources – I mainly just want to hear your thoughts about the episodes/series and would like you to critically think about some issues.In your response, please address the following questions or prompts:What was your general reaction to these episodes?Discuss how these episodes relate to our class material. Please make at least 2 connections between the episodes and specific topics we have covered in class.Discuss your thoughts on how the Department of Children and Family Services handled Gabriel’s case. Why do you think his case was handled so poorly?Charging the social workers with contributing to Gabriel’s death was quite controversial. Should the social workers be held responsible for Gabriel’s death?
