World War II Strategies

Following the events at Pearl Harbor in December of 1941, the United States immediately declared war on the nation of Japan which in turn prompted a declaration of war against Germany. Discuss the decision made by the United States to fight a war in two theaters (European and Pacific) and how the United States “split” their resources as necessary.
