Why are statistical programming languages important to data scientists? What are some advantages and disadvantages that R programming language has over the other main statistical programming languages (i.e. Python, SAS, SQL)?

I’m stuck on a Computer Science question and need an explanation.

R is a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics. It is a GNU project which is similar to the S language and environment which was developed at Bell Laboratories (formerly AT&T,now Alcatel-Lucent) by John Chambers and colleagues. R can be considered as a different implementation of S. There are some important differences, but much code written for S runs unaltered under R.

Final Project Milestone 2

I’m studying for my Art & Design class and don’t understand how to answer this. Can you help me study?

You may find yourself drawn to several different art forms. It may be difficult to narrow your selection down to just one art form and, from that art form, to pick a specific work of art around which you craft your Final Project. It may help you to make a choice by remembering that a response to art is an emotional response. What art form resonates most emphatically and most movingly with you? Use this emotional response as a guide when you select your work of art.

Final Project Milestone 2: Select the art form and, within that art form, the specific work of art that you investigate and explore for your Final Project.

In Week 1, you identified a local exhibition, event, presentation, or production of an art form that you could attend by the end of Week 4 of this course. In Week 2, you select the art form and, within that art form, the specific work of art that you investigate and explore for your Final Project. (The Week 1 and Week 2 Final Project Milestones constitute the basis of your Final Project).

To prepare:

  • Please review the preformatted “Final Project Milestone 2” worksheet.
Final Project Milestone 2 (Word document)
  • Please review the “Introduction to the Humanities Through the Arts Final Project” document in this week’s Learning Resources.
  • Use the links in the “Research Resources for the Humanities Through the Arts Final Project” document regarding the various humanities as a starting point for the Final Project.

By Day 7

Complete your Final Project Milestone 2 on the worksheet provided and save it. Support your assertions by making at least two documented references to your course readings, following examples in the “Common Reference List Examples” link in this week’s Learning Resources.

Health Policy Formulation and Analysis

I don’t know how to handle this Health & Medical question and need guidance.

Choose a topic on which to develop a health policy. This topic may address a needed change in technology, health care literacy, staffing, billing, diagnosis, etc. In a 1,000-1,250-word composition, construct a health policy and analysis according to the following:

  1. Use the seven steps of policy formation to construct your health policy framework: (a) define the problem; (b) assemble the evidence of the problem or need for a policy; (c) construct alternative solutions to the problem; (d) select the criteria for choosing the correct solution from the alternatives; (e) predict the outcomes of the policy changes; (f) confront the trade-offs of not having a policy or addressing the problem; and (g) decide on a recommendation.
  2. Using the resources found in your textbook, topic readings, and other appropriate resources, explain your health policy’s intended use and evaluate the effect that your policy may have on direct patient care in the United States.

Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

Clinical or Health System Question in PICOT and Research Formats

I don’t know how to handle this Nursing question and need guidance.

Clinical question: PICOT Formats and One Hypothesis Format (must be safety, quality, novel care delivery, or policy/procedure)

At least one area needs to be PICOT & one a research hypothesis with the null stated as well like the examples below.

Online or clinical resources – List at least 2 resources for each. Please use APA format to list resources in this column.

Example Diagnosis Research Hypothesis:

Research hypothesis: A low D-dimer level (less than 500 ng/mL) has a high negative predictive value for acute pulmonary embolism (PE) among patients undergoing diagnostic pulmonary angiography (H1). Null would be: A low D-dimer level has no predictive value for acute pulmonary embolism (PE) among patients undergoing diagnostic pulmonary angiography (H0). (Goldhaber et al., 1993; Tran et al., 2019)

The Medical journal of Australia, 210(5), 227-235. doi:10.5694/mja2.50004

Example Diagnosis PICOT:

In patients with suspected deep vein thrombosis (P) is D-dimer assay (I) compared with ultrasound (C) more accurate in diagnosing deep vein thrombosis (O)?(Goldhaber et al., 1993; Tran et al., 2019)

Discussion homework

I’m working on a Marketing exercise and need support.

Following documents are required reading materials

One of the best ways to better understand Internet branding strategy is to study how companies are currently implementing the Internet into their overall marketing and branding plans. Thus, we will spend a significant portion of the class discussing the most recent developments in this area. It is crucial that you stay on top of these developments by reading offline and online publications that provide daily coverage of digital branding topics. You will have the opportunity to informally report on and discuss digital branding news that you find of interest. This discussion will consist of the entries that have been posted in the Canvas Community, and responses to those posts.

Question: There is a prompt at the end of the RTM module. It specifies what you should post about. In general, I want your educated opinion on an issue relevant to the industry or a digital marketing project that is new, interests you and is relevant to the module we are discussing. Your entry should include a brief summary of the issue/project and your interpretation of it. This is the type of analysis that any new employee might be asked to attempt. Consider this as you research and write your entry.

More details. Write professionally. Spell check. Use good sources, and cite them. Use links back to blogs and news sources that you use. Include multimedia where appropriate. Feel free to write in a conversational and informed style. Assume that people want to read your expert opinion. That is the style that most blogs use.

(Reminder: nobody’s perfect.)

PART 2: Think about becoming an ideal manager yourself. What qualities of an ideal manager do you already possess? What qualities do you still need to develop? How will you accomplish this?
