Nursing Roles

I need support with this Nursing question so I can learn better.

Advanced registered nurses work in highly collaborative environments and must collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in order to provide excellent patient care. Besides knowing the role and scope of one’s own practice, it is essential to understand the role and scope of other nurse specialties to ensure effective collaboration among nurses, the organization, and other professionals with whom advanced registered nurses regularly interact.

Use the “Nursing Roles Graphic Organizer Template” to differentiate how advanced registered nurse roles relate to and collaborate with different areas of nursing practice. Compare your future role with one of the following: nurse educator; nurse leader and doctor of nursing practice. Indicate in the appropriate columns on the template which roles you are comparing.

Make sure to compare the following areas of practice in your graphic organizer:

  1. Ethics
  2. Education
  3. Leadership
  4. Public Health
  5. Health Care Administration
  6. Informatics
  7. Business/Finance
  8. Specialty (e.g., Family, Acute Care)

Include any regulatory bodies or certification agencies that provide guidance or parameters on how these roles incorporate concepts into practice.

answer some question about economic according to materials

I’m working on a Economics exercise and need support.

  1. 1.Material 1

With a combined assets of $230.6 billion in 1990, Citigroup jumped to $668.6 billion in 1999 after merging with travel agents, nearly trebling. Before the merger of Boeing and McDonnell Douglas, Boeing’s assets were only US$ 12.6 billion in 1990 and reached US$ 36.6 billion in 1999 after the merger. After Boeing merged with McDonnell Douglas, there was no competitor in the aircraft manufacturing industry in the United States. People think that the United States is emerging as a “new monopoly economy.”

According to statistics, there were 575 joint research institutions officially registered in the United States between 1985 and 1995, and large companies such as General Motors, IBM, and AT& T is a participant in multiple research projects. Because their business is diversified and they participate in the joint research and development of many products, this provides them with opportunities to monopolize the technology market in many fields.

Material 2

In 1998, MNCs from developed countries accounted for $594.7 billion, accounting for 92 per cent of world FDI. In the same period, developed countries attracted $460.4 billion in FDI, accounting for 72 per cent of global FDI.

The United Kingdom’s investment in the United States in 1998 increased by more than eight times, and Germany’s increase by four times. The investment in these two countries accounted for 60 % of the foreign investment in the United States in 1998.

European investment in Japan surged in 1999. European investment accounted for 79 per cent of all foreign investment in Japan, compared with 33 per cent in the same period in 1998.

Material 3

The United States “Business Weekly” lists the 1,000 most valuable companies in the world in 1999 based on the market value of listed company stocks, of which 494 were in the United States, 19 more than in 1998 and 170 more than in 1990. The United States accounted for eight of the world’s top 10 profitable multinational companies in 1998.

Please answer:

(1) Analytical material 1. What are the two forms that Multinational corporations take today in pursuit of monopoly?

(2) According to Material 2.3, what are the characteristics of current MNC investment?

(3) By analysing the above, what are the objectives of MNC strategic partnerships?

  1. 2.Why is trade taking place between countries? What is the explanation of international trade theory?

REPLY TO THIS DISCUSSION_Population at risk-unit 4_TRACI

Need help with my Nursing question – I’m studying for my class.

Over five million people identify as American Indian & Alaska Natives (AI/AN), and over half depend upon services provided by the Indian Health Service (HIS) for healthcare services. Poverty, lack of education, lower life expectancy, cultural differences, and discrimination are deemed to be responsible for their significant disease burden in this population (IHS, 2019). Compared to all other races in the United States (U.S.), AI/AN Americans have higher incidences of death related to diabetes, injuries, suicide, respiratory infections, assault, homicide, liver disease, and cirrhosis with a life expectancy shorted by five years (IHS, 2019).

AI/AN peoples are more likely to be uninsured (approximately half of all families are below the poverty line), have difficulty accessing care due to far away from care locations, and about half of families are unable to access IHS services due to the federal government not recognizing some peoples tribes (Katz, 2004). Even though there is additional funding for care through Healthcare.gov, such as Medicaid and CHIPS, it is still limited to federally recognized tribes. The Centers for Disease Control are investing in providing community health services to encourage healthier behaviors (CDC, 2019), but there is still a long way to go to reach the majority. This can be an excellent opportunity for nurse practitioners to provide culturally-sensitive care to a large group of people that are currently severely lacking in support services.

Compare and Contrast

I’m working on a English question and need guidance to help me study.

Topic and Structure:

Compare/Contrast Essay – Choose one topic provided in these instructions to compare and/or contrast.

The table below provides an extensive list of topic options from which you must select, and we recommend that you choose one from below that you are interested in beyond this course. For instance, if you are a Finance or Business major, you might be interested in the Dividends v. Capital Gains topic. If you are a Science major, you might choose Hybrid Seeds v. GMO Seeds. Or perhaps you’re taking StraighterLine’s Survey of World History course, in which case you might opt to research the similarities and differences between the United States and the Roman Empire. You will use at least two credible sources to support your claims, and remember, you must include your sources throughout the body paragraphs of your essay in a mix of cited quotes, paraphrases, and summaries. Both the support and research portions of the rubric will be negatively affected if you do not integrate your researched data.

· Rosa Parks vs. Harriett Tubman

· Treaties vs. Executive Agreements

· Roman Empire vs. United States

· Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven” vs. Robert Frost’s “The Road Not Taken”

· Verbal vs. Nonverbal Communication

· Biblical Old Testament vs. New Testament

· Leonardo di Vinci vs. Michelangelo

· Apple Ipad vs. Microsoft Surface

· Dividends vs. Capital Gains

· Marxism vs. Socialism

· Chicago Cubs vs. Chicago White Sox

· Jazz vs. Blues

· String Instruments vs. Wind Instruments

· Amphibians vs. Reptiles

· Charles Darwin vs. Jean-Baptiste Lamarck

· Solar Power vs. Wind Power

· Hybrid Seeds vs. GMO Seeds

· Public School vs. Home School

Write an essay comparing or contrasting the two topics in your selection using EITHER the point-by-point OR the subject-by-subject method to organize the details and specific examples. Consider focusing on three to five subtopics and generate ideas through prewriting. Develop a strong thesis statement for your essay that includes your two topics from the list above; your three to five subtopics; and a claim about how they are similar, different, or both.

Sample Thesis Statements:

If you will argue that your two topics are mostly similar:

Topic A and Topic B share many similar characteristics, including (Supporting point 1), (Supporting point 2), and (Supporting point 3); while they differ in (Additional supporting point), the similarities greatly outweigh the differences.

OR

If you will argue that your two topics are mostly different:

While Topic A and Topic B have (Additional supporting point) in common, they are mostly quite different; in fact, they differ in characteristics such as (Supporting point 1), (Supporting point 2), and (Supporting point 3).

OR

If you will argue that your two topics have many important/interesting similarities and differences:

Analyzing Topic A and Topic B reveals many fascinating similarities as well as differences; for instance, they share (Supporting point 1) and (Supporting point 1), but are vastly different when it comes to (Supporting point 3) and (Supporting point 4).

Tips

To brainstorm, you might consider using a Venn diagram or a simple list to show what your topics have in common and how they differ. Then you can select the most prominent or interesting characteristics that you want to highlight in your paper.

Be sure to avoid beginning your comparisons or contrasts in the introduction. Your thesis is the only place in the introduction where you will include this information. Use the introduction to get your reader’s attention, and consider using a good strategy that leads into the topic. For instance, you might relate a short anecdote to illustrate your topic, an interesting quotation that relates to your topic, or perhaps a surprising statistic that reveals something about your topic.

Then, in the body paragraphs remember to support your claim(s) outlined in the thesis. For instance, if one of your points says the city and the country are different in terms of transportation, be sure the topic sentence of one body paragraph presents a similar statement. In addition, spend equal time on each subtopic in each body paragraph, and one way to develop organized body paragraphs is to focus on one topic before moving to the next one so that the paragraph support is split 50/50. In other words, using the example above, you would explain the transportation options in the city in full, and then, you would detail the types of contrasting transportation in the country. End each body paragraph with a strong concluding sentence that synthesizes that paragraph’s discussions.

The conclusion should sum up the specific supporting points as well as your overall assessment of why these points are important. Consider what kinds of interesting or new conclusions you can draw from your comparison. In other words, your essay must reveal why your comparison is important. A well-developed paragraph often contains a minimum of five sentences. Note that any of the main sections below labeled with Roman Numerals (I, II, III, IV) could be more than just a single paragraph.

Format Requirements:

Remember to apply the concepts you’re learning in the course, including elements of grammar, punctuation, thesis development, and other skills.

Length: This assignment should be at least 500 words.

Sources: You need a bare minimum of two credible sources for this assignment.

Header: Include a header in the upper left-hand corner of your writing assignment with the following information:

  • Your first and last name
  • Course Title (Composition I)
  • Assignment name (Comparison and Contrast)
  • Current Date

Page Layout:

  • MLA style documentation (please see the tutorial in the course topic)
  • Last name and page number in upper-right corner of each page
  • Double-spacing throughout
  • Title, centered after heading
  • Standard font (Times New Roman or Calibri)
  • 1″ margins on all sides
  • Save the file as .docx or .doc format

Underline your thesis statement.

Practical Exercise: Entity Relationship Diagram

I’m working on a Management exercise and need support.

Hi!

Here are the instructions for this assignment.

An Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) is a deliverable that is created during the logical data modeling process that focuses on the data, unlike a DFD that focuses on the processes. The data in an information system that are created, stored, and utilized by a user are referred to as Entities, Attributes, and Relationships and are represented in ERDs as graphical pictures.

In this activity, you will create three Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) in an individual practical exercise utilizing Microsoft Visio®. You will create your ERDs in three different cardinalities, One-to-One, One-to-Many, and Many-to-Many.

Requirements

Create the ERDs in THREE different cardinalities, One-to-One (1:1), One-to-Many (1:M), and Many-to-Many (M:N), utilizing Microsoft Visio. Before you begin to work on this activity, review the Visio 2016 Crows Foot ERD Interface Demo v2 (YouTube – 7:06) (Links to an external site.) video. This tutorial will assist your understanding of how to create the ERDs. Refer to the ERD examples in the textbook.

To create the ERDs, utilize the Crows Foot Database Notation template. The template can be located by selecting the Categories (not Featured) menu selection from above the templates that are presented and selecting General/Basic Diagram. Next, choose More Shapes/Software & Database/Database/Crows Foot Database Notation, and select Create.

Your ERDs must address the following requirements:

  • Submit THREE ERDs in ONE Microsoft Visio diagram.
    • A One-to-One cardinality ERD.
    • A One-to-Many cardinality ERD.
    • A Many-to-Many cardinality ERD.
  • Utilize Crows Foot Database Notation.
  • Submit the following data in your ERDs:
    • 2 Entities per ERD.
    • 3 Attributes per each Entity.
    • ONE attribute must be designated as a Primary Key Attribute.
    • One of the ERDs must indicate a Null modality for the Child Entity.
  • Submit your ERDs in VSDX file format.

And here is the grading rubic:
