Select the language you would like and click the orange “Go!” Read the disclosures and click “I wish to proceed” at the bottom of the page. You will not be required to disclose your personal results. You should select and complete the Weapons IAT. (This website is live and can be updated. If Weapons IAT is not functioning when you use it, simply select another race-based IAT such as Race IAT, Native IAT, Skin-tone IAT, or Asian IAT.) Complete the survey and get your results. At the end of the survey, you will also see data about how most people responded to the survey. Answer the following questions: How do most people do on the IAT? How can you relate this finding (as you summarized in question 1) to what you learned about media representations of criminals? Do you have any concerns with how the IAT works? In your answer, make sure to read the description of how the test works and the “order effects” discussed on the final page of the study.

This is between 1000-1500 words. It is okay for you to write a slightly longer or shorter paper. What I need is a Summary and analysis of the key ideas in the reading(s). You will need to discuss the key ideas and arguments the authors are making. You need to also write your thoughts on the readings. Your critical reflection post needs to have an Introduction and a Conclusion. Your paper should be well-organized. Your writing should be clear and concise, and free of grammar mistakes, typos, and other Errors. Questions: What is ‘intersectionality’? Why is intersectional analysis important in development? According to AWID’s article, ” As with all approaches and tools, the usefulness and impact of intersectionality will depend on how it is used”: • How can we use intersectionality to achieve gender equality and social justice? • What does the term ‘Dalit’ mean? • What are some of the challenges Dalit women when engaging in feminist politics in India? • In what ways has COVID 19 affected Dalit communities? What recommendations does the IDSN statement make for addressing the impact of COVID-19 on Dalit communities? Browse the web-pages of AWID (awid.org) and FRIDA and tell us about the work of one of these organizations. Why have you chosen this organization? how relevant are its activities to the concepts we have been discussing in class so far? Reading: Association for Women’s Rights in Development (AWID). 2004.
