There will be two analytical essays worth 50 points each. These essays will be based on primary sources that cover various topics from the time period we are exploring in this class.
Need help with my History question – Im studying for my class.
Select any ONE primary source that interests you and, after reading the source, answer at least some of the following questions in your essay:
Who is the author(s) of your chosen source? What is the time period of the source and what is the topic? What does this article tell you about the time period? What is he/she trying to say? What is his/her point of view? Does he/she make a convincing case? Why or why not? What does the author leave out (if anything)? What can this source tell us about the time period it was written in? Is there anything in this source that might be relevant to the world today?
Note: Depending on the source you choose, not all of the above questions may be relevant. Answer those which are relevant to your source. Your essay should consist of a summary of the article (about 2/3 of your essay) and then an analysis of the article (about 1/3 of your essay).
Try to select a document section that interests you. If it is a topic/person that you are unfamiliar with, be sure to do at least a little research to give you a better background for analyzing the source. If you would like to use additional sources (internet web sites, books, periodicals, etc.,) you are more than welcome to, as long as your focus is on the primary source.
- Your essay should be a MINIMUM of 800 words (it can be longer if you like).
- About 2/3 of your completed essay should be a summary of the article while the final1/3 should be an analysis/critique of the article.
- All persons, events, concepts in your paper should be introduced/explained clearly in other words, write your essay as if your audience was another student!
- Your essay should follow the standard formatting rules for either APA, MLA or Chicago styles.
- Your essay should have a cover page and bibliography page in your chosen style (these pages do NOT count towards the essay length).
- Your essay should be double-spaced with #12 fonts and 1-inch margins.
- The essay needs to be written entirely in your own words. Use quotes very sparingly and only to highlight a point you are trying to make. Quoted material does NOT count towards the length of your essay.
- Your essay needs to be neatly written and grammatically correct (points will be deducted for sloppy papers).
- Your essay should be saved as either a Word (.doc or .docx) file or as a Rich Text File (.rtf). Essay files should be submitted to the assignments section on our class website. To be safe, you should upload your essay file and copy/paste your essay in the textbox on the submission page! It is your responsibility to submit a file that I can open and read. Late points will apply to files that I cannot open or that are in the wrong format.
MMC3407 Using Visuals to Enhance Viewers Perception
I need help with a Nursing question. All explanations and answers will be used to help me learn.
Scenario
You have been hired by a large law enforcement agency to analyze the images used on advertising billboards in both urban and suburban regions. The billboards visually display a new campaign message to improve neighborhood safety.
During your analysis, you find that the images used on billboards in the urban areas are exactly the same as the images used in the suburban areas. Both images show parents happily talking with law enforcement officers while children run over green lawns having a fun balloon fight. You decide that these images are not sending proper perceptual messages. You decide to create a visual analysis video for the law enforcement agency to share with the administration
For the video visual analysis, you realize you will need to find two new images that are quite different from one another. One image will be used on the urban billboard, and the other image will be used on the suburban billboard. In your video presentation, you will compare and contrast how each image utilizes the following:
- Compare and contrast the visual elements of cultural familiarity. Explain why it is important to use culturally familiar visuals that are quite different in the urban and suburban billboard images. Include specific visuals in your visual analysis.
- Identify specific visual examples of the following cognitive elements: memories, experiences, and expectation. Compare and contrast how urban and suburban viewers may be affected differently by those specific cognitive visual elements.
- Explain the difference between urban and suburban viewers’ emotionally engagement with each of the billboard images.
- Identify visual semiotic codes in both images: metonymic, analogical, displaced, and condensed. Discuss the importance of using these codes. Include specific visuals in each part of your visual analysis.
As you outline your ideas for the video, you decide to record your verbal analysis while analyzing the two visuals in less than seven minutes for added clarity.

Someone You Admire
Need help with my Psychology question – Im studying for my class.
Consider this excerpt from a recent story in the workplace:
Kyle Hammond, a 24-year-old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is in many ways a dream employee. He doesn’t goof off while working as a grocery store bagger in Ohio. When he’s sent out to collect shopping carts in the parking lot, he does exactly that. He doesn’t chat on his cell phone or play games, like some employees do when they’re sent to round up carts.
But his mother, Cheryl, still worries that his misunderstanding of social rules a symptom of autism could get him fired. When the manager puts out doughnuts for the employees, she said, Kyle doesn’t realize that he is only supposed to take one or two. Also, he may make comments to shoppers that they find puzzling. One time he told a shopper that her car was a Decepticon, a villainous robot from the Transformers science fiction series. Fortunately, she was not upset by the unusual remark. She said she bought the car because she liked its color (Sarri, 2017).
Many traditional career counseling methods were not intended to address the needs and challenges of individuals like Kyle. How should career counselors approach Kyles specific needs to ensure he finds appropriate and meaningful work in a safe and accepting environment?
Individuals with communication disorders like autism, and other socially marginalized groups, may be ill-served by mainstream methods of career counseling. This week, you will examine how career counseling and development can address socially marginalized groups within society.

Using the CFI to Individualize Panic Disorder Care Name Institution
I dont understand this Social Science question and need help to study.
Directions:
To prepare:
- Read the Diaz (2017) article and take note of their experience using the CFI and the advantages they found in the process. Also note the minority stress concerns that arise in those working with anxiety issues in different cultures.
- Review the CFI questions and readings in the DSM-5 on cultural variations, syndromes, and idioms.
- Meet your collaboration partner and take turns administering the CFI questions (and any needed subsections) to each other. Your partner will role-play an anxiety issue but otherwise be as true to their own situation as possible.
- Observe how the CFI administration process goes and take any notes needed. Based on what you learn about your partners needs and culture, you may need to do further research in the suggested readings and library before submitting your Assignment.
Submit a using the Diaz article as well as additional resources about culture, in which you do the following:
- Describe the skills or techniques you used to engage your partner during the CFI.
- Explain which aspects of the CFI were the most helpful in learning about your partners personal view of the problem and situation from a cultural perspective.
- Describe the cultural components (e.g., race/ethnicity, religion, geographic region, socio-economic status, etc.) that may influence your partner, and analyze how those cultural components influence their mental health experience.
- Identify which relevant subsections of the CFI you used. Explain why you did (or did not) use a subsection as part of your assessment.
- Analyze how you, as a social work treatment provider, might adjust interventions for the client (your partner), their individualized circumstances, and culture of origin. Be specific and demonstrate critical thought through application of concepts in resources.
- Recommend a specific evidence-based measurement instrument to validate the diagnosis and assess outcomes of treatment. Explain any cultural considerations you made when determining an appropriate instrument, including whether or not the instrument was validated with diverse populations.
Be sure to support your post with specific references to this week’s resources. If you are using additional articles, be sure to provide full APA-formatted citations for your references.

Ethical Considerations in Global Expansion
Im working on a Management exercise and need support.
Ethical Considerations in Global Expansion
In Unit 1 you formed a team and started the process of growing your simulation company. As you saw in the Conscious Capitalism videos, and in this Linda Fisher Thornton video-Leading From A Strong Moral Center, having a strong commitment to your values and ethical stance is critical to business growth, especially as your company grows and you expand into other countries and cultures.
In this Assignment, you will research many facets that will be important to consider as you decide which country(ies) your simulation company should expand into. For example, you will discuss the four principles of Conscious Capitalism. Further, you will discuss the role of government operating as a business. Additionally, you will research three markets for possible expansion, and highlight economic and cultural considerations. Then, with your simulation companys values as a backdrop, you will recommend and justify country(ies) for expansion of your business.
This Assignment explores the professional skills of;
- Global awareness
- Awareness of ethical issues and responsibilities
- Make ethical decisions and solve problems
- Work effectively in teams
Assignment Goal and Thought Process
Goal: As a Conscious Capitalism based business, how can we use these principles to help us determine which governments (Amsterdam [Holland], Rio de Janerio [Brazil], Bangalore [India] the countries under consideration expansion) would be the best match to ensure successful expansion into this country.
Thought Process
- Business decisions are based on a variety of data points including, sales, profit, cultural match. Your goal as a business leader is to make decisions that have the best chance of success so you will need to incorporate as much data as possible before making your decisions.
- If you were going to be presenting to your management in a real-world situation, and requesting funds to support your expansion plan, you will need all of this data to be seen as credible and win support for your plan.
- The role of government and official policies have an important impact on the growth of their nation(s).
- In your simulation, you will be creating plans to expand to any or all of these 3 areas, Amsterdam, Rio de Janerio, and Bangalore and need to have a foundation for making these choices to augment the traditional sales and profit goals. The 4 principles of Conscious Capitalism can be an additional data source for decision making
- As governmental policies will play a large role in our success when expanding we need to know the following;
- Can a government operate as a business?
- How can we view governments through the lens of Conscious Capitalism to help us make our expansion recommendations? While the principles are usually applied to business, can we apply them to governments?
- What is the culture of each country under consideration for expansion and how many principle(s) of Conscious Capitalism do they follow?
- How does this information help us make expansion recommendations, if our goal is to expand to countries that have the strongest link to these principles?
Assignment Details and Rubric-
In a 4-6 page APA formatted paper excluding text, diagrams, and other visual/oral aids as appropriate, address the following:
- Section 1- The principles of Conscious Capitalism are usually applied to a business, but to help us make these choices, we will be applying them to the governments of the countries under consideration for growth but first need to answer these questions;
- What are the four principles of Conscious Capitalism? Describe each of the principles.
- Should we view government as a business in order to eventually apply the principles of Conscious Capitalism? What information does the research show on this topic? Present a balanced analysis covering the pros and cons of this approach. You will need to use at least 3 scholarly sources to support your thoughts in Section 1 in addition to the readings for this week
- In general, how would you use the principals of Conscious Capitalism to analyze the possible markets and their governments for expansion goals?
- Section 2 -Research the markets that you can expand into from your home base in NYC (Amsterdam [Holland], Rio de Janerio [Brazil], Bangalore [India]). Do NOT discuss NYC as you are already operating from this location.
- Create a profile for each of the expansion areas (Amsterdam [Holland], Rio de Janerio [Brazil], Bangalore [India]). Include the following information.
- Economic data, i.e., population, Gross National Product (GDP)
- Cultural data; i.e., Hofstede Cultural Dimensions
- Which of the 4 principles of Conscious Capitalism are demonstrated by the government of the country?
- Section 3 Recommendations for expansion. Using the results of this analysis and knowing the cultural profile your company leadership has already creating, make detailed recommendations for expansion progression. This should include;
- Include in-depth description of your company, its products, and other relevant information to support the recommendations.
- The logic that you are using to support your recommendations. This can include the projected sales and profit information, the links to Conscious Capitalism, any other factors which formed your recommendations.
As you work in this Assignment you may want to share your information in the team space so the team can use it in the decision-making process. Remember that differences in opinion are a great tool for discussion and increased effectiveness in decision making.

discussion about Neil Gaiman’s “Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes”
I need help with a Writing question. All explanations and answers will be used to help me learn.
1. In Preludes & Nocturnes many heroes experience a journey. As a result, many characters function as multiple character archetypes.
Question: if we consider Hellblazer (John Constantine) the hero of the chapter titled “Dream a Little Dream of Me” and, which characters act as the herald, the wiseman, the shadow, etc?
You need to identify the archetypes AND provide a rationale for why you believe this character serves as the archetype from monomyth.
250 words minimum
2. In essence, intertextuality is the idea that each text we read will be informed by the previous texts we read. The magic of Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series is that multiple references to mythical beings and other characters in the DC Universe are present. Therefore, those who have read other DC titles and ancient mythology will be informed by these experiences upon reading Sandman. However, we do not need to know about these guests in order to enjoy Gaiman’s story.
Becoming familiar with the guests in the tale, however, does add to the depth of the story being told. Choose a character from Sandman: Preludes and Nocturnes and conduct a little background research on the character (example characters below). In two to three paragraphs, describe your findings.
One paragraph for each myth associated with the object or being you choose.
One paragraph about how they manifest in other comic books
One paragraph about how they manifest in other mythologies (if applicable).
Example below:
Be creative. If, for example, you find out Morpheus is the God of dreams. Then Google search “God of Dreams” and see what other types of characters show up. Hypnos would likely show up, for example. Or Oneiroi. You could write a paragraph on Hypnos, one on Oneiroi, and one on Morpheus as he exists in Ovid’s Metamorphoses.
Because I used Morpheus as an example, he cannot be used for the exercise 🙂
ONCE A CHARACTER HAS BEEN USED, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SAME CHARACTER (exceptions allowed if you submit within a minute or two of another person, under the premise that you both wrote about the same character around roughly the same time).
1. Etrigan (DC Comics)
2. Hellblazer (DC Comics)
3. Dr. Destiny (DC Comics)
4. Cain & Abel (The Bible)
5. Azazel
6. Beelzebub
Remember:
250 words minimum
Respond to others
Use citation if you quote sources word-for-word!
Do not rely on a simple cut and paste approach. You must write this in your own words, using quotes to support your thoughts.
Discussion: Multigenerational Workforce
Need help with my Social Science question – Im studying for my class.
Leadership challenges posed by the multigenerational workforce are many. One solution may not fit all employment settings or projects within the same setting. How do you value the Boomer Generation workforce while engaging Gen Y for a successful and harmonious work environment? What does the future hold for your organization if you, as a leader, are unwilling or unable to adapt your leadership style in concert with your ever-changing staff demographics?
This week, you are asked to research and find an additional scholarly publication that either supports or rejects the position of the Learning Resource articles. Comparing and contrasting through synthesis is an effective tool for thought leading to implementation and evaluation.
To Prepare
- Review the Learning Resources.
- Research and find a scholarly publication that supports or rejects the position of the Learning Resources.
By Day 3
Post a description of a scholarly article you identified within the last 5 years on the multigenerational workforce in the government or nonprofit sector. (The article must not be one of the Learning Resource articles). Include the APA citation of the article with your description. Next, synthesize this article with at least one of the readings included in your Learning Resources. Reflect on your experience of working within a multigenerational workforce.
